When we were kids if mom said shut up you did. She was always right and most times we were wrong. But I remember one night we were at church. Going home mom and dad got in front of the car … my second brother and I got in the back. My youngest brother was still in the church somewhere. My brother and I tried to tell mom that BUT she said “shut up and be quiet”. So we did until we got home … then me and my brother rolled out of the car laughing so hard; Until mom asked what was so funny? That is when we told her my youngest brother was still at the church.
We all jumped back into the car to go get him. We found him still in the church and he had no clue we had left him. But we had to tell him and when we did he cried for an hour.
