We have laws made by man that contradict 7 of the Ten Commandments
It is one thing for people to sin and break the laws of God.
Jesus said we could be forgiven.
But it is entirely a different thing when a nation allows its leaders to put into effect new laws that contradict those of God. A nation that starts to defy God in this way is doomed to failure.
The first four commandments of God are Unconstitutional
Ten Commandments #1 – Gods Law
You shall have no other Gods before me
American Laws:
It is unconstitutional to restrict people from worshiping any God they choose. We started out wrong from the beginning when our founding fathers inadvertently granted permission to the people to worship any god they choose.
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
- The laws of man have allowed evil into our country. Satanism is allowed to flourish.
- The explosive growth of witches, Wiccans, and Pagans in the US
- Our founding fathers had no idea how far people could take 1st amendment.
Ten Commandments #2 – Gods Law
You shall not make for yourselves an idol
American Laws:
- Freedom of religion allow people to worship statues of deities.
- Certain religions in America make offerings of food and money to statues
- “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
Ten Commandments #3 – Gods Law
You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God
American Laws:
Freedom of speech – Gods name is taken in vain publicly and there is no law to stop it except Gods Law. America does not respect Gods Laws in court.
Ten Commandments #4 – Gods Law
Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy
American Laws:
- Blue Laws violate Gods law.
- Every state now allow some kind of business to open on Sunday.
- Only 12 states do not permit liquor to be sold on Sunday
- Factories run 24/7
Ten Commandments #5 – Gods Law
Honor your father and your mother
American Laws:
- How many court cases are between a child and their parents in the USA, too many to list.
- If a parents discipline their children strongly they can be sent to jail for child abuse.
Ten Commandments #6 – Gods Law
You shall not murder
American Laws:
- Late Abortion now legal in some states after the baby is alive, has feelings and a heart beat.
- You are allowed to kill intruders into your home.
- ‘stand your ground’ laws – ‘stand your ground’ simply means that, if you reasonably believe that you face imminent death, serious bodily injury, rape, kidnapping, or (in most states) robbery – you can use deadly force against the assailant, even if you have a perfectly safe avenue of retreat.“
- Death with Dignity Law-Bills which seek to improve end-of-life care have been introduced in state legislatures around the country, and state legislators look to the Oregon Death with Dignity Act as a guide for good reason.
- The death penalty is legal in 30 states
Ten Commandments #7 – Gods Law
You shall not commit adultery
American Laws:
In 2003, the Supreme Court ruled in Lawrence v. Texas that sexual activity between consenting adults is legal, and state laws banning homosexual sodomy are unconstitutional.
Up until the mid 20th century most U.S. states (especially Southern and Northeastern states) had laws against fornication, adultery or cohabitation. These laws have gradually been abolished or struck down by courts as unconstitutional. Pennsylvania abolished its fornication and adultery laws in 1973

Ten Commandments #8 – Gods Law
You shall not steal
American Law:
The legal system for the most part supports Gods Law on stealing
Even this law is not reflected in our law entirely.
Ten Commandments #9 – Gods Law
You shall not give false testimony
American Law:
The legal system supports Gods Law for the most part on lying if the lie is used in a legal matter in some cases. Lying to your family they don’t care.
Ten Commandments #10 – Gods Law
You shall not covet
American Law:
There are no laws I know for what you think, only if you take action on those thoughts.
For today we started with the better known 10 commandments later we will deal with the other 603 commandments from God as found in the Bible.
